Duraweld amongst Top 60 Times Best Green Companies

The Times

Duraweld will be included in the third annual edition of The Sunday Times 60 Best Green Companies , the winner of which will be  published in The Sunday Times on 30th May 2010.

According to the Times, “Competition for places in the top 60 was intense and the quality of entries very high. Only those organisations demonstrating the highest environmental standards, with workforces wholly engaged and in tune with their green initiatives, have made it onto the list.”

Hannah and Mark will be attending the awards event to be held in central London on the evening of 26th May 2010. The event will reveal the winner of the coveted prize: The Sunday Times Best Green Company.  A number of special awards will also be presented to acknowledge notable achievement in the environmental field.

It takes confidence and ambition to get involved in a contest like this and subject our green credentials to independent scrutiny by a national newspaper and a leading firm of environmental consultants. Duraweld’s continued commitment to environmentally responsible business practices and the development of our unique 100% recycled polypropylene made from our own off cuts; our recycled vinyl used on all ready to ship presentation folders and the free binder return service all mean our customers can be confident in our conscience.

Check out our blog on May 27th to see how we got on.
