Training Success at Duraweld!
As part of its ongoing commitment to staff development, Duraweld’s Customer Services Team have completed a Selling and Negotiating training course
As part of its ongoing commitment to staff training and development, Duraweld is delighted to announce that all twelve members of its Customer Services Team have recently successfully completed the Selling and Negotiating training course run by West End Training of York, which was part-funded by the governments´ Train to Gain skills initiative.

The course covered numerous topics designed to improve and enhance the skills of the Team, and was held at the Company´s offices over a two day period.
Train to Gain is the national skills service that supports employers of all sizes and in all sectors, helping them to improve the skills of your employees as a route to improving your business performance.
Mike Prescott, Principal of West End Training said: “It’s great to see companies like Duraweld continuing to train in the current climate and taking full advantage of Train to Gain funding.”
In addition to this, four members of the Customer Services Team, Jenny Norton, Lisa Fullerton, Lisa Adams and Sharon Davis have also recently achieved their Level Two NVQ in Customer Services. Supported by Duraweld and funded by the North Yorkshire Learning and Skills Council, local company YH training has worked with them to achieve this important Level Two qualification.

The funding we secured from the Learning Skills Council and Train to Gain to help us do this has been immensely helpful. We are delighted that all of our Customer Services Team successfully completed the training, and offer special congratulations to the girls who achieved their NVQs.”
