Duraweld appoints new Operations Manager

Duraweld, one of the UK’s leading producers of customised presentation, packaging and printed products, has just appointed Keith Dawson as its new Operations Manager.

Keith will now lead the 50 strong production team at the company’s Scarborough factory, and will be focussing on further developing their lean manufacturing processes, their just in time deliveries systems and extending their industry accreditations to include Quality Management Standard ISO9001.

Having previously worked for the Manufacturing Advisory Service, and various other manufacturing organisations, Keith brings with him a wealth of experience from the manufacturing industry.

Keith brings with him the experience and ability to take our manufacturing to the next level of quality and efficiency, which will enable us to provide our customers with even quicker response times and continued value for money on our high quality customized products.”

Based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Duraweld produces folders, ring binders, dividers, organisers, boxes, conference packs, wallets and retail packaging for a wide range of clients and offers a wide range of environmentally-friendly product options.
